Level 3 student in Art & Design.
I have looked at the artist Daniel Eatock whilst doing the Olympic project.
I found him very interesting and different. Although his logo is simple it is also very effective. The current logo designed by Wolff Olins a brand consultansy is not appeling at all. They have had many complaints saying that it is ugly and should’nt have been made the official logo.
In my opnion Daniel Eatock should had been the designer to have his logo as the official Olympic logo becuase it is much mor interesting.
Its Under Your Feet
This is a video that I put together using the pictures I took from the wonderful waste project…Enjoy :)
These are some of the pictures that I took from the Wonderful Waste project. The reason for this idea is that you cant recycle tampons and everyday people are flushing them down the toilet which can block the pipes up and cause problems for the toilet. they also get put back into the sea, this can then harm sea life. Another point to make is when tampons go in the bin nothing is done about them, they don’t get recycled they get burned which doesn’t help the environment. I did some research and came across a little device called the ‘Diva Cup’. Its similar to the tampon but with this new little gadget you can use it over and over again.
Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know(feat Kimbra)
I hated this song at first but loved the video…but I’ve watched it so many times now I think I know all the words xD Its so strange and different :)
KERNING: This is where the letters have spaces between them it can also be used for words in sentences as well.
LEADING: This is the spacing between the lines.
I cant stop watching this video at the moment because I just love it. I think that its different to any normal music video and its really funny :)…Other than the video its a really good song and It just puts me in a good mood :D
I really like the human eye so I thought while we were learning to use photoshop I would use something that I thought was interesting and make it look totally different.
